We use a number of innovative systems and technologies to construct large and small buildings for the range of facility requirements, including schools, housing, dormitories, surgeries, mancamps, admin and general purposes. All structures are energy-efficient and sustainable, both in terms of high environmental responsibility and low operating cost. The buildings can be as attractive or utilitarian as desired and permanent, semi-permanent, or temporary. Whether single- or multi-storey, they can be easily modified and reconfigured and are truly relocatable. Total operating and total lifecycle costs are dramatically lower than other, typically more expensive buildings. All systems and technologies are proven and contribute very high LEED point values.

We rely on local (indigenous) partners for actual construction in order to create employment opportunities and develop commercially-viable capabilities.  We are not restricted to any single construction method or materials, but the core of our flexible building system is:

Compressed Earth Block (CEB). Rather than buying and transportating block, poured concrete, and framing materials, we prefer to manufacture our own structural blocks right at the construction site with jobsite soil. Depending on which completely portable machine (manufactured in the USA) is used, two people can produce 480 blocks an hour, each block typically 14" x 10" x 4" and weighing 40 pounds, using 1.5 gallons of diesel fuel. The blocks perform as well as or better than traditional cement block in all environments (to include extreme and wet weather conditions), have superior insulating characteristics, serve as both exterior and interior faces when desired, and are tested by the State Department for ballistics and force protection. The use of CEB enables savings especially in material and transportation costs.

Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) have been used in the past primarily to construct ugly, temporary buildings that perform poorly and cannot be relocated. The unique, patented SIP we use (manufactured in the USA) can be architecturally designed and combined with CEB or used on their own for attractive, high-performing, permanent, semi-permanent, or temporary buildings. The panels have a double tongue-in-groove joint and go together and come apart with a single hex wrench. Completely reconfigurable and relocatable; flat pack to standard NATO pallet configurations; non-combustible, non-toxic, non-polluting; small building or large clearspan; with or without self-levelling floor system.

Induction Lighting uses about a third of the power needed for other lighting technologies, generates no heat, and has the highest color rendering index of any other type of lighting. The lamps are manufactured in the USA and last 22 years; they are comletely non-toxic and non-polluting. Currently used in offices, museums, state facilities, manufacturing plants, parking lots and garages, pools, gymnasiums, and many other applications.

Indoor Environment Cleansing technology cleans both the indoor air and the surfaces inside buildings, while they are occupied. Reduces pathogen transmission, efficacious against viruses and elimnates all odors. Not ozone; not corrosive. Manufactured in the USA. Tested by CDC and in use by both the government and the private sector.

Spray Ceramic that performs as highly efficient insulation and functions as a thermal barrier. Dramatically reduces both the heating and cooling loads.  In use by US forces in the Middle East, applications such as cool roofs and windows, and industrial applications like steam pipes, refrigeration buildings, etc.  Manufactured in the USA.

Modular and Scalable Ductless HVAC system, reliable, highly efficient, easy to install, manufactured in the USA and available from the manufacturer on purchase or lease with all maintenance.

Compressed earth block, made only from local (job site) soil.  Structural, exterior envelope and/or interior.
